In the past, I thought doing research was similar to this cartoon. However, now I know that there is so much more to it. I am very excited to be a new part of the Growing Minds team, but I have to say that I am very nervous about inquiry-based learning. I know how to teach students how to do research and projects at the intermediate level, but I question how to do this with children who can’t read or write yet. I am grateful to have so many people on staff with experience teaching inquiry, and many have already offered their support. I know with their support, I will get the hang of inquiry-based learning quickly.
